Chevrolet introduced two hot concept coupes at the 2012 North American International Auto Show targeting next-generation buyers. The Code 130R, is a four-seat coupe (resembling a BMW 1 Series), featuring "heritage performance-inspired" styling, turbocharged engine and rear-wheel drive. The second concept the three-door Tru 140S is a front-wheel-drive, "affordable exotic" (think Lambo Gallardo), four-seat sporty coupe. The Tru 140S is based on the the Chevrolet Cruze platform and the Chevrolet Volt electric vehicle with extended range.
Both cars if produced, would have approximately 150 horsepower, comfortably seat four, feature innovative storage, WiFi, smart phone integration, heads-up display and Chevrolet MyLink. Retail MSRP's would target the low $20,000 range.
