Residents of Lincolnshire opted to buy domestic vehicles 21 percent of time in May. Sales of domestic vehicles totaled 16 of the overall 78 auto sales to residents in the month.
Jeep topped the domestic sales chart with six sales of the 16 total sales of domestics cars to Lincolnshire residents. The breakdown of the six total Jeep sales was zero used and six new over the course of the month.
Residents of Lincolnshire went with imports 79 percent of time in May, as 62 of the overall 78 auto sales in the month came from this category. Toyota was the most popular import purchased in the month, accounting for 11 of the total 62 import sales. A total of zero pre-owned vehicles and 11 new vehicles comprise the overall total of 11 Toyota purchases in May.
Honda led the way in used import sales with a total of five sales. Porsche (one) and Jaguar (one) followed in used import sales. Popular makes of new imports sold to Lincolnshire residents included Toyota, with a total of 11 sales, followed by Nissan (eight) and Lexus (six).
On the flip side, GMC was first in used domestic sales, with a total of one sales, while Ford (one) and Chrysler (one) followed. Additionally, popular domestic vehicles bought new by Lincolnshire residents included Jeep, with a total of six sales, followed by Chevrolet (three) and Ford (two).
Fields Jeep sold more domestic vehicles to residents of Lincolnshire than any other car dealership in the month of May. Liberty Auto City and Audi Exchange rounded out the top three list of top dealers of domestic cars and trucks to Lincolnshire residents in the month. For those looking to buy imports, Autohaus on Edens proved to be the most popular dealership in May, followed by Liberty Import Center and Knauz Continental Autos.
